Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate Maintenance team, with the first six months based in Skellefteå, Sweden. After this, you will move to our brand-new factory in Heide, Germany, where you will be one of the first engineers in our growing team. By joining us, you will be a key player in optimizing maintenance strategies and contributing to the development of one of Europe’s largest battery factories.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Maintenance Engineer, your main responsibility will be developing and optimizing the maintenance programs for our equipment, ensuring reliability, safety, and cost efficiency. You will work closely with operators, technicians, and other production personnel to identify improvement areas and implement solutions. A typical day will include analyzing equipment performance, leading maintenance initiatives, and ensuring that the necessary spare parts are available. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the future of our operations in a rapidly growing and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Collaborate with operators, technicians, and production staff to identify and implement equipment improvements.
- Lead the development and optimization of maintenance programs for the factory.
- Provide training on maintenance-specific tasks to ensure team competency.
- Track equipment performance and reliability, analyzing costs and recommending reinvestments as needed.
- Set up long-term maintenance plans and ensure the availability of essential spare parts.

We believe that you have :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or production.
- Fluency in English (other languages, including German, are a plus).
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, automation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proven track record in continuous improvement within an industrial environment.
