    We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our compositing site based in Dunsandel. This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team, working together to provide planned and preventative maintenance, engineering and mechanical services to our composting site.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

  • Working as a qualified Maintenance Engineer
  • Performing reactive, preventative, predictive, and proactive maintenance
  • Providing mechanical and engineering services (e.g. welding)
  • Maintaining knowledge of current H&S legislation and Meadows H&S systems and procedures
  • Provide mechanical resources to enhance efficiency and support operational goals at the site

APPLICANTS FOR THIS ROLE SHOULD HAVE NZ RESIDENCY OR A VALID NZ WORK VISA, AND CURRENTLY BE RESIDING IN NEW ZEALAND. THIS ROLE WOULD NOT SUIT SOMEONE LOOKING FOR SHORT TERM EMPLOYMENT, THEREFORE, ONLY CANDIDATES WITH MORE THAN 12 MONTHS ON THEIR VISA WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Short listed applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment health assessment and drug test.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is your opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team, in a fast-paced working environment. Your flexibility and willingness to lead, learn, and pull together with other team members will help you stand out in this role.

  • Permanent, Full-Time salaried position
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week - (On call Saturday morning every 3 weeks)
  • 7am start
  • Vehicle provided for work purposes
  • May be required to work at our Hornby site on occasio
