Description:
Are you experienced in reactive maintenance work? Do you have a good understanding of health and safety legislation? Are you looking to work Monday to Friday? Do you want to work in an interesting and creative environment?
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across our diverse estate portfolio in and around Stratford-upon-Avon.
Reporting to the Estates Engineering Supervisor, key responsibilities will include (see the job description and person specification for the full list):
- Attending breakdowns and carrying out programmed repairs.
- Working in accordance with all relevant health and safety legislation, codes of practice and company procedures.
- Assisting with project work, installing new electrical systems and services.
- Always adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Taking responsibility for tasks and reactive repairs to ensure they are progressed to completion efficiently and within agreed time frames.
To be suitable for this role, you must have:
- Level 2 diploma in plumbing City & Guilds or NVQ
- G3 hot water systems unvented HWS
- Legionella prevention
- Significant experience in a similar role
- Ability to use appropriate equipment and tools
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements.
This role is a full-time, permanent opportunity, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A flexible approach is required for the purposes of occasional overtime, to cover absence and annual leave as the business requires. The role is based in Stratford-upon-Avon with occasional travel to our London locations.
