Maintenance Engineer

Staff365 are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis for our engineering client located in Sheffield.
Salary £45,000 – £50,000 + overtime
Hours of work ; Shift work Monday – Friday 40 hour week
Days 06:00- 14:00
Nights 22:00 – 06:00
Afters 14:00-22:00

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: -

Able to work on own initiative and with a small team depending on business needs.
Minimum of 2 years work experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
Work under pressure and coordinate with management to ensure workflow demands are met.
Solid background of working within either a Manufacturing, Engineering or FMCG background
Forward and methodical thinker.
Basic understanding of safety for themselves and others around them.

Conducting repairs to breakdown of machinery and equipment.
Maintain job completion records through their cloud-based system, with an understanding of using tablets.
Working with a bespoke computer based maintenance program, carrying out maintenance / work requests in a timely manner and to our partners’ high standards.
Set up machinery when product changes are required ensuring that downtime is reduced and efficiencies are increased.
