Maintenance Engineer

Staff365 are recruiting for an experienced Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis for our new manufacturing client located in Rotherham.
Salary £40,000 + overtime
Hours of work ; Shift work Monday – Friday
Overtime paid at 1.5 after 37.5 hours and weekly paid.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: -

Able to work on own initiative and with a small team depending on business needs.
17th or 18th edition
Minimum of 2 years work experience as either a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
Work under pressure and coordinate with management to ensure workflow demands are met.
Solid background of working within either a Manufacturing, Engineering or FMCG background
Forward and methodical thinker.
Basic understanding of safety for themselves and others around them.

Conducting mechanical and electrical repairs to breakdown of machinery and equipment.
Maintain job completion records through their cloud-based system, with an understanding of using tablets.
Working with a bespoke computer based maintenance program, carrying out maintenance / work requests in a timely manner and to our partners’ high standards.
Set up machinery when product changes are required ensuring that downtime is reduced and efficiencies are increased.
