OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Oak Brook, IL. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment, primarily utilizing Allen Bradley machinery. If you have a passion for troubleshooting and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in PLC troubleshooting and programming, preferably with Allen Bradley systems.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and Servo Motors.
  • Hands-on experience in PLC wiring and installation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Relevant technical certifications or degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform PLC troubleshooting and programming to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in machinery.
  • Maintain and repair Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and Servo Motors.
  • Execute routine maintenance checks and inspections on all equipment.
  • Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and improvements.
  • Assist in the installation and wiring of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve maintenance processes.
