Maintenance Engineer

We’re paying £36,700 per annum for a Shift Technician at our clients site in Wrexham. There’s a generous annual pay increase coming in March though (numbers TBC), but expect a higher salary from April 2025.
You’ll be working 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off. Overtime’s generally available, time and a half too.
We’re an open book here. We know the salary isn’t the most competitive in the area. We know the shifts aren’t the easiest on your personal life.
But what we do know is there’s an opportunity in here… for the right person, at the right stage of their career.
You’ll be given tools, a fantastic work environment, 22 days holiday and a platform to ply your trade.
You’ll be given time, mentoring, support and training.
You’ll have a minimum of 2 years experience within a Manufacturing environment.
You’ll be comfortable fault finding and have experience with pumps, conveyors, motors, bearings and seals.
You must have an NVQ Level 2/3 in Engineering (or some form) too.
Day to day you’ll be in a fast-paced manufacturing site, responding to machinery breakdowns and trying to ensure downtime is as limited as possible.
And whilst we lack in salary budgets, we do to try and make it up in training budgets.
If you’re mechanically biased, we’re happy to invest in the right person to make them multi-skilled.
