ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a pro-active team player, to form part of a high-performance team working towards a world class Asset Management strategy. Not only will regular activities involve supporting the production function by assisting with breakdowns, conducting preventative maintenance there are also several safety and continuous improvement projects you will be required to lead or participate in. Key responsibilities:

  • Implement and follow preventative maintenance tasks
  • Assist the Maintenance and Engineering Manager and Supervisor on new projects for products, plant, and related equipment
  • Ensure execution of maintenance plan and be able to adjust when required based on Production requirements
  • Prompt repair of breakdowns
  • Timely troubleshooting and correction of roll formers and product faults, working in conjunction with the production department and site management team

About You

  • Minimum 5 years professional practice as TAFE qualified Fitter
  • Previous maintenance experience within any fast-paced processing industry
  • Experience specifically in roll forming is preferred but not essential
  • Strong welding and fabrication expertise
  • Ability to work within tight tolerances for components
