Responsibilities of this role

• Lead machine maintenance activities for all machinery on site
• Execute planned repairs within time and cost requirements
• Complete planned, unplanned, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Inspect equipment and raise job requests on any defective parts/components found
• Be self-motivated and able to direct a team
• Be committed to procedure based preventative maintenance
• Ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out safely

Requirements for this role include

• Trade qualified with post-trade experience in the mining industry (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic)
• Able to communicate effectively with experience in a Leading Hand role
• Experience with heavy earth moving equipment.
• Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or we can assist you to obtain)
• Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
• A current Queensland driver licence
