We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Maintenance Manager to join our team.
The Role
As Maintenance Manager you will assume responsibility for HS, IT and Engineering within the hotel. You will play a key role in keeping hotel facilities in optimum operating condition by performing preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel plant and machinery (including heat, power, air conditioning and refrigeration). You will work closely with your colleagues in Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure the hotels are kept in an excellent state of repair.
The Person
As well as having previous experience in a similar role, you’ll have relevant qualifications in general maintenance work incorporating a variety of plumbing, electrical or joinery work. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative without close supervision and be able to prioritise your work load. You’ll have a can-do attitude, be adaptable and be able to respond flexibly to different requests and situations. Finally, you’ll have a good command of the English language and be very well presented.
