Description:
Reported to the General Manager, our Maintenance Manager is critical to the success of our operation. This position will provide guidance with daily activities while simultaneously focusing on the development and implementation of more strategic long-term goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in Engineering plus five (5) years related experience in mill engineering, planning or maintenance departments; or, High school graduation plus trades qualifications in any one or more of the trades being supervised, with five (5) years’ experience as a tradesperson in the pulp industry.
- Five (5) years’ supervisory experience with a proven ability to provide leadership and direction
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- a high level of understanding for all trades within the department and understanding of mill operating maintenance procedures
