As a core member of the Technical Function team, the Maintenance Manager is a proven leader to oversee the Maintenance department in our location in Reynosa, Mexico (US$ 400 million revenue).
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum efficient operations of our machinery and equipment as well as monitoring the safety of our equipment. The duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activites, and developing maintenance procedures. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, and robotic / automation equipment.
This position reports to the Technical Function Manager in Reynosa, Mexico.

CORE TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge and technical understanding of machines and equipment
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience in planning maintenance operations
• Knowledges about fire suppression system as well air conditioning
• Understanding of lean and six sigma principles and applications
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, use hands and/or fingers, and lift and/or move up to 100 pounds amid a moderate work environment
• Ability to work on tasks at varying heights
• Be able to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Experience in implementation and maintaining programs to ensure that the plant meets company requirements for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and regulary requirements

EDUACATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing
• 15+ years of experience in maintenance and management in a manufacturing environment is required
• Must be able to flex hours to support 24-7 operations
• English language skills
  Position may require some travel to vendor sites as well as between Landis+Gyr locations to meet with project teams, external partners and/or business customers.
