Our Organization Prime Health Ltd. is a fastest growing NNHP (Natural and Non-prescription Health Product) manufacturing company based in Maple Ridge, BC having presence in North America, Asia, Middle East, and South American countries. We are passionate in delivering result and customer satisfaction. To boost our growth, we are looking for Maintenance Manager who can contribute to the following activities.

REQUIRED SKILL, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of supervisor leadership in a pharma or nutraceutical plant maintenance with the ability to demonstrate a commitment to professional development is desirable.
  • Post-secondary education or formal training in Maintenance Supervision (including electrical, electronic, mechanical,), extensive experience will also be considered.

  • Hands-on, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and handle a high volume of work with accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as being a strong team player.
  • Able to work flexible shifts when business needs arise.
  • Ability to build, lead and develop the Maintenance Team.
  • Mechanically inclined and have the manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
  • Intermediate level of computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work and maintain composure under pressure, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills to share ideas and influence others, including senior management, based on data analysis.
  • Ability to implement new operational strategies and learn how to achieve successful strategic change and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to proactively address equipment issues and minimize breakdowns.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment components to ensure availability for maintenance activities.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Lead and mentor maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, optimizing resources and controlling costs.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services and equipment repairs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in maintenance operations, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and maintenance schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely information sharing & resolution of issues.
  • Prepare regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as production output, efficiency, and quality.
  • Develop and implement reliability plans that support increasing the uptime of the facility.
  • Drive maintenance Best Practices- Innovate, document, improve work methods, standardize, provide a safe work environment and require safe work practices, train, commission equipment, collect, measure, and analyze key performance indicators to improve processes.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
