MAINTENANCE MANAGER

The St James Hotel is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our driven and highly motivated team. This employment is under a full time, permanent basis and seeking to work 5/7 days between Monday and Sunday.

-To maintain the hotel and plant fabric to the highest possible standards within budget limits.
- maintain the hotel in a fully operational mode with full statutory and legal compliance.
- Carry out weekly fire tests and record them.
-Manage and repair all plumbing and leaks.
- To care for all plant and machinery
-control and monitor all external and internal contractor repairs to ensure value for money.
- Check all emergency lighting in compliance with fire certificate and to keep records up to date.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure up to date communication and understanding. Coordinating priorities with management and plan work loads.
- Maintain financial awareness and understanding of how the role impacts the hotels profit and loss account and the business as a whole .
-Purchase/order departmental supplies, also undertake monthly stock take, and action any discrepancies in line with company standards.
