REQUIREMENTS:
Storengy UK are seeking a Maintenance Manager, with a strong operational background within the major accident hazard environment; oil, gas, chemicals, power etc.
- 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas, or process industries. Preferably in a site based Maintenance/Engineering role
- Bachelor’s degree, or higher in an Engineering subject – essential
- Strong leadership and team management skills, in a fast paced maintenance environment
- Change management experience
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance best practices and regulatory requirements
- Responsible, proactive and self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude; able to work with a high level of autonomy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic approach to multi-year maintenance plans
- Good level of understanding across all operational engineering disciplines
- Emergency response experience within a COMAH environment, able to participate in a 1 week in 4 Duty Manager rota (must live within a 1 hour drive of Northwich)

A rare opportunity to work for an innovative organisation in the heart of Cheshire, within a small, high-performing Engineering and Maintenance team. The Stublach Site is the largest onshore natural gas storage asset in the UK, with the company having expansion ambitions into new business areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and further develop all aspects of the Storengy UK Maintenance Strategy
- Manage and develop a multi-discipline maintenance team for the safe and efficient planning, scheduling and delivery of maintenance - responsible for maintaining a high level of commercial availability
- Further develop and monitor for effectiveness the preventive maintenance routines
- Maintain the high performance of the team >90% corrective and preventative maintenance KPI targets, with an ageing plant
- Plan major plant outages
- Communicate effectively with the Regulator and Key Stakeholders
- Develop continuous improvement CAPEX requests for the planning and delivery of plant improvement projects
- Drive innovation and best practices in maintenance processes
