Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to join our Production team at our Mangere manufacturing site in Auckland. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is crucial in ensuring our customers receive the right product and exceptional service every time they interact with Temperzone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee repair and maintenance activities to meet business goals.
  • Allocate and balance maintenance team resources to minimize downtime and prioritize tasks.
  • Provide technical support and supervise equipment contractors and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for plant equipment and infrastructures.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to improve machine reliability.
  • Implement training and development plans for the team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage daily operations.
  • Assist with Epicor Maintenance Module integration and manage projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in maintenance management (5 years) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • EST practicing license
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, experience with CMMS is an advantage.
  • Extensive experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Ability to create engineering drawing using computer aided design packages
  • Extensive experience in reading and interpreting complex machinery documentation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
