YOUR ROLE:

As a Maintenance Officer at BaptistCare, you’ll be the go-to person for all things maintenance, ensuring our facilities are top-notch and our clients are happy. Imagine spending your days not only fixing buildings and equipment but also adding a splash of colour to our spaces with your painting skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on buildings, painting, plant and equipment, furniture, fittings, gardens, lawns, and carparks.
  • Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain asset acquisition and disposals in Maintenance Connection.
  • Manage site vehicles and loading dock areas.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager on budget planning and asset management.
  • Purchase and order equipment in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Report and manage resident and staff complaints regarding maintenance services.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and BaptistCare policies.
