REQUIREMENTS:

• Trade qualification (desirable)
• Previous experience in a maintenance role (essential)
• Knowledge of basic carpentry, welding and routine maintenance, painting and repair
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to work independently and to work as part of a small team
• National Register Screen (Anglican School’s Commission)
• Blue Card Suitability
• HLTAID012 Certificate – Provide Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting
• HLTAID009 Certificate – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

TAS is seeking a full time Maintenance Officer to be based across our White Rock and Kewarra Beach campuses. You’ll be working with a friendly and skilled team to keep the school’s facilities and grounds running smoothly.
You will be required to attend to maintenance requests around the campuses, prioritised by the Maintenance and Facility Manager. This may include moving furniture and equipment, basic repair work (depending on your trade qualification), and general building works. You will be required to use hand and power tools and have a high level of safety awareness with regard to your work.
Working hours are 6.30am – 3.36pm Mon – Fri, and is based on a flexi-time arrangement which provides 1 extra day off every 5 weeks on a rotational roster. You will also get an early finish every Thursday.
