The Maintenance Operations Analyst expands his/her practical experience in the application of system analysis techniques and procedures monitoring the NII RPM Operations Center (NROC) electronic dashboard and taking a myriad of possible actions. they will also assist in the monitoring and actions in the MAXIMO program.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the electronic NROC dashboard and carries out fact-finding and analyses as assigned
  • Applies established procedures taught where the nature of the system and feasibility have been decided.
  • Watches for “alerts” from the NROC dashboard, analyzes the alerts from principles taught to determine whether a work order should be initiated, and takes appropriate action including calling the port, discussing with PNNL or simply waiting and continuing to monitor the problem.
  • Initiates work orders and follows up on those work orders until completion
  • Incumbents of position work independently; adapt guides to specific situations; resolve problems and deviations according to established practices; and obtain advice where precedents are unclear or not available.
  • Completed work may be reviewed for conformance to requirements, timeliness, and efficiency.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities – None.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Associate degree preferred
  • 2+ years experience in a general Help Desk or Customer Service position, preferably in a maintenance environment. Experience with NII equipment is preferred. Internal candidates may substitute for this requirement for 1+ year experience in the MDC.
  • Must pass a CBP Background Investigation
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Must have analyzation skills to put several inputs together and arrive at an answer
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of MAXIMO is a plus
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems a plus
  • Ability to work shift work that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
