Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
Join the Downer Transport & Infrastructure team in this collaborative position where you’ll be a key leader in the CCA (Collaborative Corridor Agreement), managing the Maintenance Operations team for the Connect Hamilton collaborative contract with Downer and Hamilton City Council.
Ensure the timely delivery of routine maintenance programmes, within budget and to the satisfaction of our clients and customers. Oversee day to day planning, resourcing, site works, quality assurance, accurate reporting and so much more!
Your key responsibilities will include;
- Maintaining high standards of professional behaviour, actively looking for continuous improvement and creating a Centre of excellence within the CCA
- Strategic thinking and the ability to communicate with and influence those at all levels, including staff and key stakeholders
- Developing and enhancing relationships through collaboration, trust and integrity
- Developing staff and enhancing organisational culture
- Ethical, best for asset/network decision making
- Enhancing the CCA reputation, and that of Hamilton City Council and Downer
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position based from our Te Rapa, Hamilton depot. Some on-call flexibility to respond to emergency incidents is required.

This role requires someone with successful Project / Contract and People Management experience in the civil construction or maintenance infrastructure sector. You will understand industry best practice and strive for excellence & a high-performance delivery culture.
