BLYTHE ROSE CARE HOME is dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to join our team and help maintain our high standards of care and safety.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a care home or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular working hours.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the care home, including plumbing, electrical, and heating systems.
• Conduct repairs and general upkeep of the building, grounds, and equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
• Assist with decorating and refurbishing projects as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the management team.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Build positive relationships with residents and staff, providing a friendly and supportive presence.
