Maintenance Personnel (Multi-technician)

The American University in the Emirates is searching for Maintenance Personnel who is in charge of ensuring that campus facilities are functional, safe, and conducive to a productive learning environment. Their responsibilities includes routine upkeep of facilities to responding to emergency repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 – 3 years’ relevant field experience
• Ability to work under pressure, flexible with work timings and work different shifts.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Coordinates with the department manager, DIAC foreman to complete the maintenance and work efficiently.
• Install electrical / office furniture (e.g. lights, electrical panels, office furniture etc.) for across the campus.
• Inspects electrical systems / office furniture and identifies necessary repairs and takes deemed action.
• Maintains equipment and tools and ensures that all items and regularly logged and kept safely.
• Requests department for necessary upgrades, maintenance systems for enhancing the user experience.
• Visits the vendors and suppliers along with the manger to ensure appreciate material is bought.
• Perform any duties as assigned by the superiors
