Maintenance Supervisor

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Northern Star Resources has an exciting leadership opportunity at our Jundee Operations for a dynamic and driven Maintenance Supervisor working FIFO ex Perth on 8 days on 6 days off rotation.
The Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Superintendent, and the primary role is to lead the Maintenance Operations team in a safe and productive work environment by ensuring all work practices/procedures meet company safety & operational standards within the statutory standard.

TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED…

Experience: Minimum 2-3 yrs similar working experience, understanding of fixed plant maintenance principles & operations, high level of knowledge in statutory safety & environmental requirements relevant to plant maintenance/classified plant, computer literacy - particularly Pronto and MS Office, solid awareness of Maintenance Management Systems and maintenance practices, ability to plan and/or anticipate likely scenarios as related to all key responsibility areas, able to effectively allocate the organisation’s resources to achieve business requirements, and ability to develop appropriate action plans in order to respond to current and emerging issues.
Qualifications: A trade qualification (desirable), frontline management or equivalent (desirable) & Australian C Class Driver’s License
