Catalyx is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and work on our customer site in Cork.

SKILLS EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of relevant experience within a GMP facility.
• Current Leaving Certificate and Trades Certificate GSL.
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety regulations.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Work on assignments that range from semi-routine to moderately complex in nature where independent action and initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
• Perform routine work with minimal guidance.
• Independently locate and diagnose failure, replaces defective components and perform basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals and verbal and/or written instructions.
• Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
• Use a variety of hand, power and test tools and equipment.
• Provide general maintenance support as designated by supervisor.
• Coordinate maintenance on critical systems / equipment with supervisor.
• Create or revise standard operating procedures.
• Perform multi-shift work as required.
• Comply with all safety regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Be available to respond to emergency notifications via phone.
• Demonstrate knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety regulations.
• Utilise established precedents and policies.
• Demonstrates knowledge of maintenance systems, methods and procedures.
• Recognise deviation from accepted practice and troubleshoot.
