We have an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Technician. This position will be responsible for maintaining the proper functioning of the equipment assigned, executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs at the extrusion area or other area assigned.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• Electromechanics or Mechatronic Technical Degree.
• 2 years of experience in preventive maintenance
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Interpretation of electrical diagrams
• Experience and skill in handling mechanical tools, electrical and electronic
• Measurement equipment
• Basic PLC programming skills
• Computer skills, (Microsoft Office)
• Customer Service mindset and strong communication

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Reviewing and interpretation of electrical diagrams, plans and technical drawings
• Generate or modify machine programs, laser links, pullers, Vulcans, coilers, inkjets, metal detectors, flame annealers and vacuum tanks.
• Implement corrective maintenances applied to his area, machines and equipments.
• Execute preventive maintenance to equipment that is inactive during the week or programmed.
• Identify, solve and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical problems in the production team.
