A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Maintenance Technician at Queretaro Plant, you will partner with Operations Team to execute preventive maintenance program and support for electrical or mechanical troubleshooting. In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Chief.
You Will Make an Impact By:

Carry out scheduled and unscheduled preventive and corrective maintenance activities, following all the safety measures required for the performance of their activities, as well as the correct and appropriate use of personal protective equipment, with a focus on the order and cleanliness of their work area and areas where they carry out their activities that are designated.

• Person in charge of carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance according to the definition established by the maintenance manager.
• Filling out the logs assigned to your activities
• Contribute to the control and administration of spare parts
• Correct use of the tools in their charge for the performance of their activities
• Compliance with internal and external regulations in the field of Quality, Environment and Safety
• Make proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Promote a positive work environment aimed at promoting continuous improvement.
• Participation in relief brigades assigned to them
• Comply with the company’s internal operating rules
• Report of unsafe acts and/or conditions on Super platform for Near Miss report
• Maintenance work order execution and reporting
• Use of special work permit

Skills You Bring:

• Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required
• 0-1 years of job-related work experience
• Required Experience or Technical Skill of mechanical and power tools.
• Required Experience or Technical Skill in reading and interpreting diagrams
• Required Experience or Technical Skill in the handling of locking mechanisms
• Required Experience or Technical Skill of work with steel and welding processes
• Required Experience or Technical Skill of experience in performing preventive and corrective maintenance
• Required Experience or Technical Skill of identification of energy types and neutralization
• Required Experience or Technical Skill of computer equipment usage
