Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of water plant and equipment within an aquatic centre or similar environment.
  • Possession of or willingness to obtain an Aquatic Technical Operator (SISSS00011) qualification is desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the compliance with NSW Guidelines for Public Swimming Pools
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (e.g., MEX) and the ability to perform repairs and installations as required.
  • Experience in monitoring, recording and logging of pool plant operations including filtration plant, chemical dosing and testing.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to perform emergency management tasks, acting as a first responder for fire alarms and incidents.
