Why this role matters
The Salvation Army Australia’s Family Violence Stream provides a wide range of services around the country to support women and women with children impacted by family and domestic violence. We offer refuge, children’s and parenting services, counselling, support, men’s programs, accommodation and advice to women and children who are experiencing, or who have experienced, family violence.
About the role
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Maintenance Worker, at our Karratha location. Reporting to the Admin and Operations Manager, this is a permanent, part-time position offering 15 hours per week across 3 days.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award, level 3.

You will successfully

• Watering, weeding, fertilising and gardening is kept up-to-date on a regular basis
• Garden equipment is kept in good working order and replaced if necessary
• Vehicles are cleaned weekly and refuelled as needed
• Air-conditioners, barbeques, gates, bins, locks, and others as required, are regularly cleaned and maintained
• Handyman repairs completed as required

You will have (Requisite Skills & Qualifications)

• Maintenance work and gardening experience
• Valid WA Drivers licence
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid with CPR
