Description:
Role: Project Coordinator – Major Works
Location: Luton
Salary: From £22,500 per annum plus benefits
Contract: FTC – Maternity Cover
Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Intermediate IT skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication with relationship-building ability.
- Efficient in electronic administration and record-keeping.
- Skilled in problem-solving.
- Able to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE, YOUR IMPACT
As a Project Coordinator – Major Works, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient delivery of Section 20 requirements, consistently adhering to regulations and timelines. You will analyse major works requirements, producing detailed reports on both a regular and ad hoc basis to inform decision-making. Additionally, you will manage the efficient input of data into IT systems, supporting the major works team in its objectives and streamlining workflow processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage major works projects through all stages of the Section 20 process.
- Identify and resolve issues/blockages throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle a balanced caseload of individual projects as part of the team.
- Provide timely updates to property managers on project-specific issues.
- Collaborate with customer service and operations teams, sharing relevant project information.
- Ensure written communication meets professional standards and service level agreements.
- Take ownership of workload, addressing tasks from property managers, residents, contractors, and other customers in line with SLAs.
