Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Make Ready Technician, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously prepare rental units for occupancy, ensuring they not only meet but exceed the established quality standards. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our tenants, contributing to their overall satisfaction and comfort.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in maintenance or related field.
  • Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out general handyman and repair technician duties as required.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate completion of service orders.
  • Perform Make Ready tasks to ready units for new tenants.
  • Conduct move-in/move-out orientations for new tenants.
  • Assist in addressing punch list items as instructed.
  • Aid in building activities per Project Manager’s directives.
  • Provide comprehensive support to Superintendents in all tasks.
  • Manage cleaning tasks, pressure washing, make ready’s, warranty calls, and vendor meeting coordination.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Reliable transportation that meets job responsibilities.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License.
  • Maintain at least minimum car insurance required by Texas law.
  • Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, and after hours as requested.
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
  • Excellent organization, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time.Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
