Job Title: Mammographer
Location: Downtown Toronto
Type: [Full-Time/Part-Time]

Responsibilities:

  • Operate mammography unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician.
  • Explain the procedure to patients and ensure their comfort throughout the process.
  • Position and immobilize the patient’s breast in the unit, and observe the scanning process.
  • Assist radiologists in performing biopsies and pre-surgical exams when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • Successful completion of Mammo 1 and Mammo 2 courses
  • Experience in BMD imaging
  • Valid certification as a Mammographer
