Job Title: Mammographer
Location: Downtown Toronto
Type: [Full-Time/Part-Time]
Responsibilities:
- Operate mammography unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician.
- Explain the procedure to patients and ensure their comfort throughout the process.
- Position and immobilize the patient’s breast in the unit, and observe the scanning process.
- Assist radiologists in performing biopsies and pre-surgical exams when necessary.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Successful completion of Mammo 1 and Mammo 2 courses
- Experience in BMD imaging
- Valid certification as a Mammographer
