Position: Mammography Technologist
Dept/Health Program: Diagnostic Imaging Program

Site: Credit Valley Hospital (Must be able to work at all three sites as assigned. The Hospital retains the right to change assigned work location to any other THP site either permanently or temporarily based on operational needs. As part of our commitment to flexibility and growth, you may be required to cross-train in at least one other modality to support operational needs across THP)
Hours of Work/Shift: Primarily weekend shifts and evening coverage may be required; Day Shifts - 8 hours and Evenings Shifts - 4 hours

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Ability to perform all types of mammography procedures and proficient working knowledge of all aspects of all relevant mammography equipment.
  • Maintains a safe working environment for co-workers, patients and visitors
  • Participates in the evaluation and implementation of new equipment and procedures as required.
  • Collaborates with other diagnostic imaging team members to optimize use of available resources.
  • Supports a customer-focused environment.
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current C.M.R.I.T.O. & C.A.M.R.T. Registration, in good standing
  • Previous experience in areas of Mammography required
  • Strong organizational skills combined with strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated excellent patient care skills with strong team approach attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Positive work and attendance record is essential
