Job Description
Are you a passionate technology professional ready to design and deliver innovative managed services solutions? The Managed Services Solution Architect plays a critical role in supporting our clients by architecting scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions that address their business needs. This position combines expertise in system infrastructure, application modernization, cloud platforms, security, and data solutions with strong customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
The Managed Services Solution Architect will own the design and architecture of client solutions, you will work closely with sales teams, technical leaders, and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with customer requirements and seamlessly integrate into our managed services processes. The role also involves staying ahead of emerging technologies, mentoring teams, and contributing to the evolution of managed services offerings. This position is ideal for individuals with a technical operations or engineering background who are eager to grow into solution development or product management roles.
The Managed Services Solution Architect is part of the Solutions and Offerings team and will be responsible for the following:
- Solution Design & Architecture: Own the design and architecture of managed services solutions, ensuring they meet customer requirements while adhering to industry best practices and achieving scalability and operational efficiency.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with customers to gather and translate business and technical requirements into actionable solutions that align with their goals and our managed services capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including architects, engineers, and delivery professionals, to ensure solutions are successfully integrated and executed.
- Pre-Sales Support: Provide technical expertise during the sales process, supporting proposal creation, scoping, and client presentations.
- Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor junior engineers and consultants, fostering best practices and knowledge-sharing across teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation and contributing to the continuous enhancement of managed services offerings.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure all solutions align with regulatory requirements, security policies, and risk management frameworks.
- Post-Implementation Support: Support delivery teams during the transition to steady-state operations, ensuring solutions meet performance expectations and enabling long-term improvements.
Qualifications
This is a challenging role that requires technical knowledge in two or more of the following ICT products and solutions arears:
- Public Cloud: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Private Cloud and Data Centre Services: Virtualization, storage, and data center operations.
- Security and SD-WAN: Security architectures, threat management, and software-defined networking.
- Modern Workplace and Collaboration: Productivity and collaboration tools, managed device management, application packaging, and modern communication platforms, including Mixed Reality collaboration.
- Data, AI, and IoT: Data pipelines, analytics frameworks, AI platforms, and IoT ecosystems.
- Application Management and Testing: Application lifecycles, performance monitoring, and automated testing
