Description:

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Experience in Management Accounting roles in similar sized business
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible, the Integration team portfolio of countries is constantly changing so the post-holder will need to be able to react to the needs of the business
  • Excellent IT skills, including advance excel
  • Strong attention to detail, able to diver right-first-time results quickly
  • An enquiring nature to be able to confidently deal with the variety of different challenges presented by each territory
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships both within the SSC and with the wider in country team
  • European Language skills are desirable, IVC Evidensia have a presence in several European countries
  • Experience of Open Accounts would be advantageous

    Responsibilities:

    • Sales Reconciliations: Work with in-country teams, Shared Services, and the GP team to manage control accounts and debtor balances, ensuring accurate reconciliations.
    • P&L & Balance Sheet Ownership: Produce clinic P&Ls and Balance Sheet reconciliations, identify risks and opportunities, and liaise with in-country and GP teams as needed.
    • Results Commentary: Provide clear financial commentary to in-country teams, GP teams, and the Integration Manager on key performance drivers and variances.
    • Query Resolution & Process Support: Address financial queries and support the in-country team in process execution.
    • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Audit Support: Assist with audit processes and resolve audit queries promptly.
    • Month-End Reporting: Oversee month-end reporting, including journal creation and posting.
    • P&L Production: Prepare clinic P&L statements, ensuring financial accuracy.
    • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
    • In-Country Team Support: Provide ongoing financial support to the in-country team.
    • Efficiency Identification: Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and cost savings.
