This is a temporary, 9-12 month position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm & Friday 8.30am to 3.15pm

Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education.
The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors. Each of our sites has its own strong reputation in the market and between them cover a wider geographical area, including Europe. They continue to set the bar high in their highly complex market!
Vacancy Details
As a Management Accountant, you will responsibility for the management/cost accounting for the division, including month end accounting, forecasting and budgeting, tax and vat management, contract analysis and cash management and reporting. You will support the Financial Controller on all statutory, regulatory, currency and compliance requirements.

Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Cashflow forecasting both short term and part of budget/forecast process
• Review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Finance lead for stock reconciliations
• Completion of budgets and forecasts
• Working with operations and commercial teams on contract analysis/reporting

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We are looking for a Qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA), with previous management or cost accounting experience, with strong technical accounting & accounting system skills and understanding of Accounts Payable process.
