Description:
Overview:
VTG is seeking a Management Analyst II to provide product support and in-service logistics support to the NAVAIR PMA-275 V-22 Osprey Joint Program Office. Specifically, provide sustainment requirements management support to the Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APMLs) at PMA-275 Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, MD within the Air Vehicle Level II Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Responsibilities:
- Supports the planning, documentation, recording, updating and monitoring of all V-22 Product Support Requirements.
- Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability program requirements and information systems.
- Works on Product Support Requirements programs with acquisition logistics and in-service organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; and, common reporting tools within the Joint Program Office.
- Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information to risk mitigation and issue resolution.
- Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to logistics requirements or data reporting systems, and management information systems
Qualifications:
Education: BS or BA degree.
Allowable Substitution: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Experience - At least seven (7) years of experience in operational logistics support or product support acquisition with proven track performance and increased duties. Experience must include: Three (3) years in the performance of comprehensive analysis across the spectrum of Product Support elements during a job assignment in or in support of an acquisition command/operational command. Three (3) years of DoD acquisition logistics support experience to include specific experience in acquisition planning and management. Experience must demonstrate the ability to perform independent work to provide logistics requirements analysis, data drills, and weapons systems requirements documentation and management.
Allowable Substitution: An MS or MA degree can be substituted for two (2) years operations logistics experience.
Work hours will be in direct support of the client; therefore, hours may be fluid at times in order to meet customer/operational requirements. Work schedule flexibility is required. Possible telework opportunities exist per NAVAIR guidance.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Highly proficient with the Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, and Project; well developed written and oral communication skills; ability to assess established maintenance/business processes, identify/document maintenance/business process problems and recommend maintenance/business process improvement initiatives; strong team building skills and ability to develop and maintain a highly integrated network of team members required to successfully execute the V-22 support mission.
Knowledge of the following areas is highly desirable: a) Life Cycle Sustainment Planning, roles and responsibilities; b) Product Support / Integrated Logistics Support Requirements; c) Navy / Marine Corps / Air Force / Special Operations Command Mission Requirements; d) NAVAIR Sustainment Group Charter and Goals; e) In-service sustainment activity roles and responsibilities and f) Data analytics and Tableau software.
