Management and Regulatory Accounting Lead

Lead and inspire a dedicated Management and Regulatory Accounting team to provide value and insights to the business. Bring your financial and leadership expertise in developing budgets, forecasts and financial performance reports, to make an impact.

This role is primarily accountable for:

• Effective delivery and performance reporting against multiyear budgets and annual forecasts and the provision of strategic and tactical advice and reports to the Executive team, Board of Directors, managers and responsible officers.
• Reports and advice on financial performance, economic regulation, price submission procedures and compliance with statutory obligations and regulations are key outputs.
• Managing and supporting a team of Management Accountants, ensuring the effective delivery of reliable, timely information to enable the organisation to make evidence-based decisions and optimise financial performance.

The Management and Regulatory Accounting Lead is a key member of the Finance leadership team and the role is critical to delivering and driving collaboration, autonomy and accountability within the team and across the broader business.
