Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the BCC EMEA office primarily at a management level. This includes general coordination and managing of travel itineraries, calendars and department events, administrative, clerical, and project-based work. This requires the utilization of excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor in Office Management/Languages; advanced education preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in English required and any other European language is an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar administrative role
  • Able to maintain highest level of confidentiality
  • Experience with computer applications in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Experience with project coordination & database management
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Results and detail oriented
  • Critical thinking skills (generating multiple or creative solutions to a problem, drawing inferences, synthesizing and integrating information)
  • Proven record of showing initiative and problem solving skills
  • Must be punctual and display the highest level of professionalism
  • Must have a high level of flexibility and be adept in handling last-minute changes

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative and office support activities for multiple management members
  • Create and modify documents and presentations using Microsoft office
  • Set-up and coordinate meetings and conferences as designated
  • Support staff in assigned project-based work
  • Manage travel arrangements and expense reports through company’s expense reporting system
  • Set up accommodation and entertainment arrangements for team meetings
  • Manage priorities as per changing business needs
  • Provide other back-up administrative support as required
  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not be limited to: photocopying, mailing, filing, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
