WHAT’S IN IT FOR US?

  • Are you looking for a challenging internship for at least 5 months for Hotel Management or Human Resources studies?
  • Does it seem like a great challenge to you to be part of an international hotel chain?
  • Are you interested in employee development, and do you have an affinity with the hospitality industry?
  • Do you dare to take on new projects independently?
  • Are you enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, do you have good communication skills and are you precise?
  • Do you enjoy working in an international working environment with more than 120 hotels in 15 different countries?
Then we are looking for you!

Responsibilities:

Minor Hotels values the development of its employees. This is why Minor Hotels has a Learning & Development department; ‘University’. As a Learning and Development Trainee, together with the Talent Development Specialist, you will be responsible for the University in the Business Unit Northern Europe.
All employees and trainees are encouraged to attend training courses and develop themselves. There are trainings to support daily operational work, trainings aimed at personal development and even complete Management Development programmes for “the managers of tomorrow”. These take place throughout Northern Europe in our hotels.
During this internship, you will plan, coordinate and communicate training courses from the Central Services Office in Hoofddorp. You will be in contact with department heads and hotel directors throughout Northern Europe, which will greatly expand your network. You will also support the Talent Development team in putting together new training courses and with the administrative handling of all training courses and meetings. In addition, if you show sufficient growth, there is the possibility to give and participate in training courses yourself. Within University, we are always looking for ways to improve our training offer and our way of working. During your internship, there will be enough room to contribute to this and to take on your own projects. In short; a varied internship in an international working environment!
