We are currently looking for a Manager of Account Management to join our team remotely from anywhere in the EST/CST time zone.
About the Role:
Our team is looking for an experienced Manager of the Account Management team to help us achieve ambitious growth goals. As the Manager of the Accounts Team, you will build, manage, and develop a team of Account Managers. You will maximize the Account Management team’s production by motivating and coaching AM’s to hit revenue quotas and by developing their professional skills. This is an opportunity to significantly impact the growth of our company while maintaining the responsibility for executing key components of our revenue growth strategy across a growing customer base of thousands of accounts.
At eLocal you will:
- Build, manage and develop a team of Account Managers, providing ongoing support, training, and leadership to ensure team quota attainment.
- Train and develop account management strategies and tactics, net revenue retention and expansion discovery, expansion pipeline generation and management, performance presentation and positioning, resistance handling, plus more.
- Drive operational excellence through constant process oversight and improvement, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Coach AMs on ongoing discovery, account management methodology, account planning, deal troubleshooting and deal closing.
- Develop a deep understanding and subject matter expertise across the landscape of advertising and customer acquisition / lead generation; across Home Services and Legal services industries. Leverage this to help your team of AMs help our customer base understand their local market dynamics and make the most of their marketing investments, while delivering an experience our customers will love.
- Prepare and maintain accurate revenue forecasts for your Accounts Team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with crucial clients, serving as a senior point of contact for major account issues or opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and client feedback to recommend improvements or adjustments to meet and beat evolving goals.
- Deliver consistently against business goals and stride to go beyond.
- Take initiative to understand relevant industry trends, and how these may drive business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives based on business needs and growth opportunities (Customer Success, Support & Service, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, etc.).
Requirements:
- 5+ years of account management experience in B2B
- 1+ years of people management experience in B2B
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

- Proven track record of achieving/exceeding team revenue quotas.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in account management methodologies, with excellent negotiation skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and an ability to effectively communicate, influence, and motivate others.
- Exceptional organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Experience using CRM and sales tools (Salesforce, Apollo, Outreach, Zoominfo, etc.).
- Grit, accountability, and ownership- you’re willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic.
- Can perform day-to-day work with minimal supervision, and new and/or complex assignments with minimal direction; self-directed and resourceful.
- Tech-savvy, personable with natural problem-solving abilities and demonstrated discretion and ability to work with confidential information.
- Ability to think critically, troubleshoot and solve complex problems in a fast-paced, data-driven, metrics-oriented environment.
