CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA or CA qualification.
- Proven experience in a senior accounting role, ideally within a public practice or business advisory environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Manager Accountant to oversee client accounts and lead a team of accountants in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert guidance in financial reporting, tax strategy, and business advisory. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior accountants and supporting the firm’s growth initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Management: Manage a portfolio of clients, providing strategic financial advice and overseeing all accounting activities.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Tax Strategy & Compliance: Advise clients on tax planning, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a supportive and productive environment.
- Business Development: Assist with client acquisition and retention, supporting the growth and development of the firm’s client base.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes, ensuring efficiency and service quality.
