Description:
The Manager of Accounts Receivable will be responsible for leading the accounts receivable team, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of collections of premiums, as well as client terminations. This role requires a proactive leader with a keen eye for operational detail and a strong aptitude for financial analysis.
The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to optimize AR aging KPIs, manage risk, and maintain strong relationships with clients and Account Executives. By fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment, the Manager of Accounts Receivable will play a critical role in supporting the operational and financial health and growth of the company.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management or a similar role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual (French & English) - The successful candidate could have to also communicate in French to support clients from various jurisdictions including Quebec.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and pivot tables, PBI, etc.)).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
