Responsibilities:

As the Manager of AI and Emerging Data Consultants at Cegal, you will:

  • Lead a talented team of 10 data scientists and data engineers driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions for our clients in the wider energy sector (renewables, power and utilities, and oil & gas).
  • Be forward-leaning in your approach, identifying opportunities to evolve and expand the department in line with business goals and market trends.
  • Align the department’s work with business strategies, driving both innovation and tangible business results for our clients.
  • Be deeply involved in customer engagements, securing profitable, high-quality solutions, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Build postive relationships across teams and departments, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Actively engage in recruitment, talent retention, and employee satisfaction initiatives to ensure the continued growth of the department.
  • Collaborate closely with other leaders and contribute to the sales process by offering your strategic insight into how AI and data can solve business challenges within the energy sector.
