TECH SKILLS

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but having significant experience and exposure with some of these leadership attributes (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM related field.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML core concepts.
  • Experience working in AI initiatives within a large organisation within Data/Analytics/AI consulting with skills in project management, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration is highly regarded.
  • Capable of working independently while also being an effective team player.
  • Experience in data or AI governance roles is highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of AI technical landscape and key tooling/platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure or H2O.ai)
  • Passion for improving AI practices and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Data Science Tooling and Ways of Working initiatives, including the optimisation initiatives for AI/Gen AI Lifecycle and Data Science tooling.
  • Accelerate AI value delivery by optimising the Gen AI and AI Lifecycle for Data Scientists. This includes collaboration with cross-functional teams; analysis of each the lifecycle phase to understand the specific needs and challenges in delivering AI solutions; facilitation of big group workshops, deep dives, and interviews with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Nurture high performing teams by fostering knowledge sharing with a single source of truth and providing Data Science connection opportunities across the Bank.
  • Establish and oversee new or identify existing decision-making forums to ensure best practice AI and Data Science patterns, principles, methodologies are maintained across the Group.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Data Science Tooling and Ways of Working initiatives, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in AI and Data Science, and incorporate them into the Data Science Practice strategies.
