YETI is at a strategic inflection point as we evolve into a faster growing international company and increased brand awareness. We are looking for a leader with a high attention to detail that will have ownership of our product allocation to our sales channels to ensure we are optimizing inventory to hit our sales plans. You will partner with our operations/logistics teams, demand planning, supply planning, marketing, finance to ensure we are balancing our DC inventory to meet our quarterly goals. Because this unique position sees the full supply chain picture, you will also own the necessary escalations where demand is at risk and we need to take alternative actions to remedy the situation.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the allocation process to distribute inventory to all sales channels for all seasonal and core products
  • Establish strong relationships cross functionally to resolve allocation exceptions that are escalated due to sales performance or supply changes
  • Provides visibility to product launch readiness for our sales channels and works collaboratively with supply planning, logistics, and distribution to ensure demand is met at launch
  • Drives consistent communication with key stakeholders around allocation strategies and results, inclusive of risk and opportunity
  • Leads Allocation Planners and Sr. Allocation Planners through clear goal setting and supports in resolving exceptions to meet their responsibilities
  • Directs logistics and operations team on priorities and inventory movements required to support business needs
  • Owns and drives improvements in allocation process to leverage new tools and enhancements in support of optimizing supply
  • Reviews implications to changes in demand/ supply week over week within the allocation analysis and drives resolution
  • Reviews missed demand projections and identifies deficiencies with supply & allocation planners to resolve
  • Owns analysis of inventory opportunities and recommending actions to optimize inventory throughout the product lifecycle
  • Facilitates weekly and monthly checkpoints with our sales channels to ensure allocation is meeting forecasted needs, where there are shortages or excess inventory to escalate and take additional courses of action
  • Interacts frequently with Sr. Business Leaders and key stakeholders
  • Drives necessary collaboration with Supply Planners, Logistics/Distribution, Sales Channels, Finance and Marketing
  • Escalates related demand/supply issues that impact allocation planning

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or comparable field
  • At least 6 years of experience in forecasting, supply planning, production planning, or similar Supply Chain role
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience
  • Experience in multi-tier distribution network and global supply chain
  • High level of proficiency with Excel including data analysis and modeling
  • Team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment that requires continual multi-tasking and prioritization
  • Proven leader who fosters team growth and supports individual development
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to summarize and communicate data effectively
  • SAP / IBP experience preferred
  • APICS certification preferred
