Job Summary:
To collaborate with senior management in the planning, direction, coordination, and management of the practice plan or clinical operations in an assigned area. To implement policies and procedures necessary to achieve departmental short- and long-range goals and objectives.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required: N/A
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of healthcare administration. Skill in allocating resources and controlling costs. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Organizational skills. Ability to implement policies and procedures. Ability to train, motivate, and supervise employees.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the day-to-day clinical operations to effectively support the needs of providers, staff, and customers; to meet HR goals and objectives for staff satisfaction, recruitment, and retention. Develops policies and procedures and monitors quality and quantity of workflow to ensure that work is completed; monitors quality of department operations and recommends changes as needed to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Manages employees to include work allocation, quality, compliance, training, scheduling, evaluation, and problem resolution to promote harmony among the team.
  • Implements organizational policies and procedures to accomplish departmental priorities and long-range goals in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Maintains sufficient equipment and inventory levels; ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of supplies and equipment that promotes efficiency and an environment of quality patient care.
  • Prepares reports and maintains applicable records and files in support of quality patient care, personnel management and appropriate reimbursement.
