Responsibilities:
- Define the architecture and technical roadmap of the software systems, including the overall structure, components, and their integrations.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation, including design specifications, system diagrams, and usage guidelines.
- Take ownership of the Architecture review and auditing process, ensuring department-wide compliance.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools that align with the project requirements and organizational goals.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously improving the architecture to leverage new advancements.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and other team members, to ensure that technical solutions meet business needs.
- Design and plan for system integrations with other applications and services, ensuring compatibility and data flow.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Identify potential risks in the architecture and design, proposing mitigation strategies to address them.
- Analyze system performance and scalability, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
