Description:

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architecture & Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic IT team to oversee and manage our internal enterprise business applications landscape. The position will focus on overseeing, managing and building new elements of the organizations’ architecture around its data, technology and applications and find ways to use these structures to meet the company’s organizational standards and improve its overall performance.
The Architecture & Portfolio Manager will work closely with senior management to make sure that the direction of our internal enterprise business applications serves the goal of the IT architecture & infrastructure landscape including the necessary integrations between different technologies setting the direction for integrating information technology and programs across our organization.
You must be sufficiently well-versed in business applications and processes, data structures and integration strategies which will also safeguard the quality of overall implementations of the company’s IT stack. This role will involve working across all lines of business and will require solid communication skills, the ability to build relationships and drive a consistent agenda.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of plans and programs to meet the goals and priorities of the organization.
  • Digital Strategy Development: formulate and execute comprehensive digital strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Technology Integration: work closely with IT, other departments and business users or business application owners ensure seamless integration of digital tools and platforms.
  • Industry Trends: stay up to date with the latest digital trends, technologies and best practices, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
  • Standards and Best Practices: develop and enforce design standards, guidelines and best practices across the organization.
  • Quality Assurance: review and approve design deliverables to ensure high quality and adherence to standards.
  • Innovation: stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company’s design practices remain cutting-edge.
  • Feedback and Iteration: implement a feedback loop to continuously improve design processes and outcomes based on user and stakeholder feedback.
  • Continually monitor the execution of short-term, mid-term and long-term IT technologies against the IT stack roadmap.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or any related.
  • Certification in TOGAF is preferred.
  • Proven work experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role.
  • Proven understanding in organizational level data structures across multiple applications
  • Proven understanding of the application landscapes and integration methods.
  • Proven experience structuring frameworks/approaches to complex problem-solving.
  • Proven experience working successfully in large, complex, fast-paced organizations.
  • Proven experience of strategic mindset in service of team and company objectives.
  • Proven experience with effective people management skills aimed at improving productivity.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Productive communication skills towards all stakeholders.

COMPUTER / TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • In-depth understanding and working experience of business applications and IT application landscapes.
  • In-depth understanding of the end-to-end life cycle requirements of key business processes.
  • Excellent technical, analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good leadership and motivational skills.
  • Experience in modeling and graphic representations.
  • Experience with SQL, data sourcing, enterprise data management, modeling, business strategy, auditing and compliance.
  • Other skills and expertise include cloud computing, system architecture, strategy development and enterprise solutions.
  • Experience in Cloud (Azure) and SAAS-based systems – highly preferable.
