KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role you will have significant experience in the design and implementation of organisation wide asset management frameworks. You will have demonstrated leadership experience, including building teams and working collaboratively at all levels.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have a fixed term opportunity for our Manager – Asset Management System & Risk to lead improvements in Water Corporation’s asset management system as we seek greater maturity across all asset management functions. This role is critical in ensuring an integrated and optimised asset management system is improved and embedded across the organisation. In addition, this role is responsible for building and maintaining core capabilities, including asset risk and contingency planning. This role will be based in our Leederville office, reporting to the Head of Asset Strategy.
WHAT THE ROLE WILL INVOLVE
- Lead maturity assessments and governance of the Water Corporation’s Asset Management System
- Focus on improved asset decision making, including maturing the asset risk framework’s input into investment decisions and consideration of the impact of climate change on the Water Corporation’s service delivery across the State
- Ensure asset management activities are aligned to deliver business objectives
- Manage the development and implementation of asset management strategies
- Improve security and safety of assets through contingency planning
- Optimise the management, development and deployment of all team members, ensuring they have the capability to consistently deliver expected outcomes
