Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Benefits Manager to join our team. The Benefits Manager will be responsible for managing and administering our employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic guidance to enhance our benefits offerings.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as the main contact for all PFML, leave, and long-term disability related inquiries from HR colleagues and senior management.
  • Oversee the administration of all employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, flexible spending accounts, wellness programs, long term disability and leave administration. Including all other benefit offerings.
  • Ensure benefits programs comply with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA) and keep abreast of legislative changes that may impact benefits.
  • Analyze benefits data and trends to provide recommendations for improving existing programs or implementing new ones that meet the needs of our diverse workforce.
  • Collaborate with external benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants to resolve issues, and optimize service delivery.
  • Review and finalize communications regarding benefits enrollment, changes, and updates.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits-related inquiries from employees, HR colleagues, and senior management.
  • Participate in the annual benefits enrollment process, including plan design, cost analysis, and benchmarking against industry standards.
  • Participate in special projects related to benefits enhancements, system upgrades, or process improvements.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience Minimum of 4 years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Thorough understanding of employee benefits laws and regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
  • Proven experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in benefits administration software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
